Automation audit · New Zealand
Automation audit ranked, costed, yours to keep
An automation audit is a fixed-fee review of how your business runs. You get a ranked, costed list of what to automate first and a written roadmap, to use with us or without us. Audits are from $2,500.
You already know something is slow. The audit tells you which job to fix first, and what fixing it costs.
How we look
We follow one job from enquiry to report
We sit with the people who do it, and read the inbox and spreadsheets they use. Every handover a person makes by hand gets a mark.
What we count
Count the steps, then cut them
Each marked step goes in one of three piles: automate it, keep it with a person, or leave it alone. AI only goes where it pays.
Method
The audit is step one of four
Stop after it and take the roadmap to your own developer or another supplier. Or build with us, one job at a time. Either way you decide.
What you get
A roadmap you can hand to anyone
Each job has its size and its place in the order, and the ones that should stay with a person say so. Nothing in it needs us to read it.
Price
A fixed fee, agreed before we start
The size of your business and the number of workflows we review set the price. You see it in writing, and nothing starts until you say yes.
Questions
Quick answers
Open any question
What is an automation audit?
It is a review of how work moves through your business, ending in a written report. We follow real jobs from start to finish, mark the steps a person does by hand, and rank what to automate by effort and payoff. The result is a list and a roadmap, not a pitch.
What do I get at the end?
A report with findings by area, a ranked list of jobs, the size of each one (a fix, a build or a larger system) and the order to do them in. Jobs that should stay with a person say so. You can use it with us, another supplier or your own developer.
How much does an automation audit cost?
Audits are from $2,500, fixed in writing before we start. The size of the business and the number of workflows reviewed move the price. See how we price a job for the other kinds of engagement.
Is this an AI audit?
It covers AI where AI pays. Messy, high-volume reading and writing, such as emails and PDFs, can suit a model. A plain rule suits the rest. If you already run an AI tool and want it reviewed, say so and we’ll scope that on its own. See AI consulting.
How long does an audit take?
The number of workflows reviewed sets the length. You get a delivery date in the written scope, before you pay anything. We don’t start until you say yes.
What do you need from us?
Time with the people who run these jobs, and a look at the tools they use. Access is read-only and agreed for each project. We don’t take logins we don’t need, and we say in the scope exactly what we’ll see.
Do we have to build with you afterwards?
No. The roadmap is yours. Carrying on with us is easy, because the first job is already scoped and priced, but you can take the roadmap anywhere. If another supplier fits better, we’ll say so.
Do you audit Zoho setups?
Yes, with a Zoho health check, the same idea aimed at your Zoho system. This audit covers the wider business: every tool, spreadsheet and inbox a job passes through.
When should we skip the audit?
When you already know the one job. Ask for a fix or a build, and we’ll scope that directly. An audit earns its fee when there are many jobs and no order, or when you suspect the slow part is not the part everyone blames.
